Chad Greenway, Vikings: The linebacker became the first Viking in the team's 49-year history to have two interceptions and a fumble recovery in the same game.
Brett Favre, Vikings: The new kid set an NFL record for consecutive starts (271) and a team record for pass completion percentage (.852). And took some licks.
Larry Foote, Lions: A former Steelers linebacker, Foote returned to help out his hometown team this season. He had 10 tackles, two for losses, and a sack on Sunday.
PLAY OF THE GAME
Quarter: Third • Time: 8:00 • Score: tied 10-10
The play: Three plays after the Vikings tied the score, linebacker Ben Leber stopped Lions running back Kevin Smith for a 3-yard loss, and Greenway recovered Smith's fumble at the Lions 27-yard line.
The result: Adrian Peterson, on the next play, broke right on a 27-yard scoring run, giving the Vikings the lead for good.
Sunday marked the 25th consecutive game in which the Vikings haven't given up 100 yards rushing to an individual. The last player to rush for 100 yards against them was Packers running back Ryan Grant, who had 102 yards in Green Bay's 34-0 victory on Nov. 11, 2007.
