Favre mania sparks hotel marketing gimmick

The marketing opportunities are mounting as the day of Brett Favre's debut as the quarterback of the Minnesota Vikings nears.
The Hotel Minneapolis is introducing a Favre Package, which includes a charitable twist tied to the future Hall of Famer's jersey number.
Guests who stay three nights at the downtown hotel and trade in their old Brett Favre Green Bay Packers jersey (but any NFL jersey will do, the hotel admits) will receive a third night's stay for $4.
The jerseys collected will be donated to the Boys and Girls Club. This package, with rates starting at $99 per night, is available for Friday to Sunday stays all through the NFL season. Jerseys must be given to the hotel at check-in.
