ABOUT THE EAGLES
• The Eagles (14-3) rallied from a 10-6 deficit with three Jake Elliott field goals, including a 53-yard attempt as time expired before halftime, to beat the Falcons 15-10 in the NFC divisional round.
• Philadelphia clinched the NFC's No. 1 seed with a 13-win season, two victories coming after former MVP candidate Carson Wentz tore an anterior cruciate ligament in Week 14. Quarterback Nick Foles has stepped in and passed for 727 yards and five touchdowns with two interceptions in four starts.
• The Eagles' No. 1-ranked run defense will test Latavius Murray and Jerick McKinnon after not allowing a 100-yard rusher until the regular-season finale against the Cowboys and Ezekiel Elliott.
• The Eagles lost Wentz, Pro Bowl left tackle Jason Peters, running back Darren Sproles, middle linebacker Jordan Hicks and kicker Caleb Sturgis to injured reserve.
PLAYER SPEAK | S Malcolm Jenkins
• Safety Malcolm Jenkins is a leader on and off the field. The defense's third-leading tackler has gained much attention for his charitable work and visits to Capitol Hill to discuss social issues.
• Jenkins is one of the league's more versatile safeties, recording eight pass deflections, two interceptions, one sack, one forced fumble and one blocked kick this season.
• Only two NFL safeties blitzed more than Jenkins (48 pass-rush snaps) this season, according to Pro Football Focus, coming away with three hits, two hurries and a sack.
• Quarterback Case Keenum on Jenkins: "He's a solid player. He's all over the field. What doesn't stand out about that guy? He's a guy we're going to have account for wherever he's at, know what he's doing and what he's trying to do. He does a good job disguising it, too."
COACH SPEAK | Doug Pederson
• Pederson is in his second season as Eagles head coach with a 21-12 record (1-0 in playoffs).
• Pederson has presided over a top-10 scoring offense in three of the past five NFL seasons, including twice as the Chiefs offensive coordinator (2013, 2015) and this season with the Eagles.
• On adjusting without Carson Wentz: "Obviously you lose the athleticism with Carson, his ability to run. Not that we exposed him to a lot of runs, but you do get limited a little bit that way."
• On the Vikings' thrilling finish against the Saints: "I think that's momentum, I really do. That's something to really kind of fuel the emotion. … We've had a couple of those games this year where we had the 61-yard kick at the end of the Giants game that gives you a little bit of momentum going into the next week."
