Friday was fine day in the NFL, when the league collected money from players for infractions during Week 13 games.
Per Pro Football Talk, one player who kept his entire paycheck was Cowboys defensive lineman Cedric Thornton.
Surely you remember Thornton. It was his thwack to Vikings QB Sam Bradford's helmet on a two-point conversion try that would have tied the game that had plenty of people talking after the game and in the days after. Replay after replay clearly show Thornton made contact.
Thornton was not penalized for roughing the passer on the play, and the NFL has not come out to say that referee Tony Corrente and his crew made a mistake in not throwing the flag.
