The Vikings will be without leading receiver Stefon Diggs today as they play the Lions here at Ford Field in the early Thanksgiving Day game.

Diggs, who has 67 receptions for 747 yards and two touchdowns, is officially inactive with a knee injury after not practicing this week. He tried to give it a go during early warmups but the team is holding him out.

With Diggs out, both Laquon Treadwell and Jarius Wright will suit up and should get snaps alongside Adam Thielen and Cordarrelle Patterson.

The Vikings are also without cornerback Terence Newman, who is out with a neck injury, and punt returner Marcus Sherels, who is dealing with injuries to both his ankle and ribs after playing against the Cardinals.

There is good news, though. Safeties Harrison Smith and Andrew Sendejo, middle linebacker Eric Kendricks and cornerback Captain Munnerlyn are all active, as is outside linebacker Chad Greenway, who indicated this week that he was prepared to miss the game if his wife went into labor.

Quarterback Taylor Heinicke, offensive tackle Rashod Hill and defensive linemen Sharrif Floyd and Stephen Weatherly are the other inactives.
