Vikings long-snapper Kevin McDermott confirmed an NFL.com report that he has signed a four-year, $4 million contract extension through 2020.
"I love it here," said McDermott before declining further comment until the team officially announces the extension.
Undrafted out of UCLA in 2013, McDermott signed with the 49ers and beat out 13-year veteran Brian Jennings. He helped the 49ers to the NFC title game that year and played in seven games for the Ravens in 2014.
Last year, he beat out 11-year veteran Cullen Loeffler for the Vikings' long-snapper job.
