The Vikings single-game tickets that went on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday were gone by noon.

The team had 4,000 tickets for sale for the 10 home games, including two preseason games.

Team spokesman Jeff Anderson said some tickets will be available closer to game days if visiting teams don't need their entire allotments.

Fans eager to see the team at home during the inaugural season of U.S. Bank Stadium are making tickets an easy sell for the Vikings.

Of the 66,200 seats in the new building, all but a few thousand were sold to season-ticket buyers.

The first preseason home game is Aug. 28 against the San Diego Chargers. The first regular season game is Sept. 18 against the Green Bay Packers.

Season tickets remain available at 952-918-8599.
