Bud Grant celebrated his 89th birthday Friday by wrapping up yet another successful garage sale.

The Vikings legendary coach continues to attract fans from throughout Minnesota and the country interested in getting their hands on a piece of Grant's junk -- or treasures depending on how you look at it.

Brian Richards left work in St. Cloud around 9 a.m. Friday morning to make sure he made it to Grant's Bloomington home before the third day of the sale ended at noon. Ron Rogers drove to Minnesota from Dallas earlier this week to take in all three days of the sale.

Fans lined up to pay $25 for Grant's autograph and rummage through his stockpile. Some of the leftovers on Friday were an $800 game-worn Vikings helmet, a set of tiling tools, scrapbooks of letters from fans, and piles of clothes.

I stopped by and flirted with buying the tiling tools, an old power saw, and a piece of art showcasing the Minneapolis skyline with the Metrodome at the center. I left with nothing but fun stories to tell. Check out the video from my visit with Grant, his son Bruce and several Vikings fans:
