Vikings starting quarterback Teddy Bridgewater injured his shoulder late in the second quarter and left the field for testing Sunday against Green Bay.

It was announced his return was probable and he took the final two snaps before halftime. The Packers lead 16-6.

Bridgewater is 10-of-12 for 109 yards and one touchdown. He has run two times for 14 yards and been sacked three times for 20 yards.

Green Bay's third sack by outside linebacker Julius Peppers knocked Bridgewater out of the game. Peppers and linebacker Mike Neal landed on Bridgewater, who came up with a limp left arm.

Starting free safety Harrison Smith injured his knee late in the first quarter and limped to the sideline where he would throw his helmet.

Smith was tended to and kept his knee loose on the bike before returning early in the second quarter.
