• The Jets (6-3) lead the AFC with 28.3 points per game. They lost to the visiting Patriots 19-10 on Sept. 14. New York has four defensive TDs and 31 sacks, more than it had all last season. RB Thomas Jones leads the AFC with 750 rushing yards.
• The Patriots (6-3) have given up 30 sacks, after giving up only 21 last season. QB Matt Cassel made his first career start against the Jets in Week 2. Undrafted rookie BenJarvus Green-Ellis has run for a TD in the past four games.
