Week 5 of the Page 2 Fantasy Football Challenge is upon us. Each week, a guest picker chooses a QB, RB and WR. The only players off-limits are those selected by the previous week's guest picker. The guest — Kyle Ratke, the web editor for the Timberwolves, who jokingly says he has inside information with DraftKings but lost all of his savings to FanDuel — will go head-to-head against Star Tribune writer Michael Rand, who is not allowed to pick anyone projected to score in the top 10 by NFL.com at their respective positions:

Kyle Ratke'S WEEK 5 FANTASY PICKS

QB: Sam Bradford, Eagles

NFL.com QB projection: No. 15

Matchup: Saints

Bradford has been horrible this season. Tyrod Taylor, Ryan Fitzpatrick and Marcus Mariota (who just had a bye) have thrown for more touchdowns than Bradford. He's got to turn it around, though, doesn't he? (Don't answer that.)

RB: Frank Gore, Colts

NFL.com RB projection: No. 16

Matchup: Texans

Gore is 45 years old and I feel like he's fumbled it at least 12 times this season. And of course he's on my fantasy team. I'm taking him for the same reason I took Bradford: Gore has to turn it around.

WR: Julian Edelman, Patriots

NFL.com WR projection: No. 16

Matchup: Cowboys

Even with missing last week to a bye, Edelman is sixth in the league with 30 catches. Pump the balls up all you want, Edelman is going to have a big week against Brandon Weeden's Cowboys.

MICHAEL RAND's WEEK 5 FANTASY PICKS

QB: Nick Foles, Rams

NFL.com QB projection: No. 11

Matchup: Packers

Aaron Rodgers and the Packers have been pretty much invincible at home (at least during the regular season), so I consider this the equivalent of a backdoor cover in gambling parlance. The Packers jump out to a big lead and Foles airs it out late. I also like the Bradford/Foles trade symmetry.

RB: Justin Forsett, Ravens

NFL.com RB projection: No. 17

Matchup: Browns

I have Forsett in my main league, and he's been killing me with four straight games without a TD. But he busted loose for 150 yards against the Steelers. This week he keeps it going and scores, too.

WR: Odell Beckham Jr., Giants

NFL.com WR projection: No. 17

Matchup: 49ers

San Francisco has given up 90 points in two road games this season and generally has looked like a mess since beating the Vikings in Week 1. Beckham should take advantage with a big game.

SCOREBOARD WEEK 4 FANTASY RECAP (USING NFL.COM DEFAULT SCORING METHOD)

Winner: Michael Rand — Philip Rivers (26.2), Frank Gore (6.7), Larry Fitzgerald Jr. (7.9). Total: 40.8.

Loser: Kevin Myers — Andy Dalton (18.4), Latavius Murray (4.1), Julio Jones (3.8). Total: 26.3.

Overall standings: Guest pickers 3-1
