Every weekday, we walk you through what's going on with the Vikings.

WHAT YOU MIGHT HAVE MISSED

AROUND THE NFC NORTH

—The Bears have some question marks in their secondary, which has some new faces this season.

— Packers cornerback Casey Hayward hasn't been impressive so far coming off a stress fracture in his foot.

— The Lions acquired tight end Tim Wright from the Bucs in exchange for kicker Kyle Brindza.

TODAY'S VIKINGS SCHEDULE

The Vikings' final practice this week will be very brief. It begins at 11 a.m. with offensive coordinator Norv Turner expected to talk to the media at 12:30 p.m.

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT

The Vikings' roster is currently at 76 players. They must make one more roster move to reach the 75-player limit before the NFL's 3 p.m. CT deadline. Per our colleague Mark Craig, the Vikings are hoping to get something in return for tight end Chase Ford. The team seems set at the position with Kyle Rudolph, MyCole Pruitt and Rhett Ellison.
