Vikings needs

The Vikings addressed one of their biggest needs Thursday night by drafting Michigan State cornerback Trae Waynes. Now which positions must they address the next two days?

Wide receiver: Six receivers went in the first round, but this is a deep class at the position so the Vikings can still find a young target for Teddy Bridgewater.

Guard: The Vikings have typically waited until later rounds to draft interior linemen, but keep an eye on South Carolina's A.J. Cann.

Middle linebacker: They must replace departed starter Jasper Brinkley. Some intriguing prospects, including Texas Christian's Paul Dawson, are still on the board.

Safety: One safety was selected late Thursday night — proof that it's not a great class for safeties. They could choose to convert a cornerback to safety instead.

Defensive end: Their pursuit of free agent Michael Johnson suggests they see this as a significant need. Could they roll the dice on Nebraska's Randy Gregory?
