MATT VENSEL: JOSH ROBINSON WILL SCORE ON A PICK-SIX

The last time the Vikings and Bears played, Bears quarterback Jay Cutler picked on cornerback Josh Robinson, who on that day looked like a little kid trying to keep up with his older, bigger brothers. All three of Cutler's touchdown passes came when he threw the ball up for grabs to tall wide receivers Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery when Robinson was tasked with covering them. Marshall is out for the season and won't play Sunday, and cornerback Xavier Rhodes will likely follow Jeffery around. But you can count on Cutler going after Robinson again, and the third-year cornerback will make the erratic veteran quarterback pay by picking off one of those passes and taking it to the house for a touchdown.

MARK CRAIG: ALSHON WILL BE HELD TO FEWER THAN 50 YARDS RECEIVING

With no Brandon Marshall on the other side and big corner Xavier Rhodes to shadow him, Bears receiver Alshon Jeffery will be held to fewer than 50 yards receiving as the disinterested Bears put up little resistance in Marc Trestman's final game as an NFL head coach. Josh Robinson, the 5-10 corner who was punished by the much taller Jeffery and Marshall in the first meeting, won't get the rematch he says he'd like. Jeffery had 11 catches for 135 yards and a touchdown, while Marshall had 90 yards and two touchdowns. The next time the Vikings face Jeffery and Marshall together on the same field, the Vikings might have a new, taller third cornerback.

MASTER TESFATSION: BRIDGEWATER FALLS SHORT OF RECORD BUT COMPLETES 70 PERCENT

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger currently holds the single-season rookie completion record with 66.44 percent in 2004. Teddy Bridgewater sits third on the list, behind Robert Griffin III, at 64.19 percent. He'll need an out-of-this-world performance to surpass Roethlisberger's record, but Bridgewater will fall just short of the accomplishment. That won't deter him from having his fifth straight game completing over 70 percent of his passes to close the season, however. Bridgewater will extend his impressive streak against the Bears defense, ranked 31st against the pass, in the Vikings' season finale.

CHRIS MILLER: CUTLER WILL BE STRONG IN TRESTMAN'S SWAN SONG

Chicago's quarterback controversy will spread into the offseason when Jay Cutler has a strong performance on Sunday. Cutler got a seven-year, $126 million contract at the end of last season, then got benched for Jimmy Clausen last week. Cutler is back after Clausen suffered a concussion, and will throw for more than 300 yards and three touchdowns today … in what will be coach Marc Trestman's last game with the Bears. He'll be replaced by … Jim Harbaugh.
