No. 17. Vikings, Chad Greenway, Iowa
Missed rookie season after knee surgery. Was second on the team in tackles in '07.
No. 18. Dallas, Bobby Carpenter, Ohio State
Can't crack the starting lineup, but has been a standout on special teams.
No. 22. San Francisco, Manny Lawson, North Carolina State
Converted defensive end was a starter who tore his ACL in the third game last season.
No. 33. Houston, DeMeco Ryans, Alabama
NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year, then made Pro Bowl last season.
No. 34. Cleveland, D'Qwell Jackson, Maryland
Two-year starter, led the team in tackles last season.
No. 35. Washington, Rocky McIntosh, Miami (Fla.)
Broke into the starting lineup last season, but torn his ACL in December.
No. 38. Oakland, Thomas Howard, Texas-El Paso
Two-year starter had six interceptions last year, returning two for TDs.
