MANO-A-MANO

Vikings C John Sullivan vs. Lions DT Ndamukong Suh

WHO WON?

Suh was disruptive but had only three tackles and no quarterback sacks or hurries. So the edge goes to the Vikings offensive line, and Sullivan.

PLAY OF THE GAME

AN OLD TIME

BROKEN FIELD

The Vikings were at midfield late in the first quarter. WR Cordarrelle Patterson (84) took a pitch from QB Matt Cassel (16) and reversed field, sweeping right before cutting back to the left on a 50-yard TD run. Lions Ndamukong Suh (90), Devin Taylor (92), Rashean Mathis (31) and DeAndre Levy (54) failed to corral Patterson.

THE QUOTE

"It was supposed to be a pass, I saw Greg [Jennings] covered at first, and I was thinking about running."

— Patterson
