Situation: Third quarter, 13:51 left

The play: Bucs quarterback Josh Freeman (5) threw a screen pass to Doug Martin (22) and Martin streaked through Vikings defenders, including LeTroy Guion (98) and Chad Greenway (52), and headed down the left side for a touchdown. Cornerback Josh Robinson (21) had the last shot but was blocked by Bucs WR Tiquan Underwood (11).

Kluwe agonizes after rough game

Chris Kluwe was frank.

The Vikings punter had a horrible start to his worst game of the season as the Vikings lost to Tampa Bay 36-17 on Thursday.

His first punt went 35 yards. His second was a 20-yard shank that set the Buccaneers up for a drive for a field goal. His third punt was a low 39-yarder from his own 13. Tampa got the ball at the Minnesota 48 and scored a TD to take a 10-0 lead eight plays later.

"It's always tough," Kluwe said. "I have a job to do, and I didn't do it. I let the team down. It's a horrible feeling."

In all, Kluwe had six punts and averaged 37.8 yards.

Vikings RB Adrian Peterson vs. Bucs LB Lavonte David

Peterson. He had 123 yards, and David had two tackles.

"For a young guy to have that kind of vision, that patience as a runner, it's pretty impressive."

-- Bucs CB Ronde Barber, on Martin
