PLAY OF THE GAME: The Tiebreaker

Score: Tied at 7, 6:31 left, second quarter Situation: The Vikings had third-and-goal from the Cardinals' 3-yard line. The play: Vikings QB Christian Ponder (7) faked to Adrian Peterson (28) as Percy Harvin (12) cut behind his line left to right. Vikings TE Kyle Rudolph (82) cleared out Arizona LB Daryl Washington (58). Cards CB Patrick Peterson (21) followed Harvin down the line but couldn't stop the catch and TD.

Adrian Peterson moved up in the Vikings record book in several categories Sunday. Already the franchise's all-time rushing leader (7,454 yards), he moved into tie with Robert Smith for most 100 yard rushing games in Vikings history (29) and into second in career rushing attempts (1,542, trailing Bill Brown's 1,627). Peterson is now fourth in team history in combined yards with 9,276 (Cris Carter leads with 12,410) and has a touchdown in 47 career games (fourth in team history; Carter had a TD in 79 games). Peterson moved into 15th in NFL history in rushing yards in his first six seasons and should move into the top five before season's end. Eric Dickerson (9,915) is the all-time leader in that category.

MANO-A-MANO: Vikings LT Matt Kalil vs. Cardinals DE Calais Campbell

Kalil. Campbell had two tackles and no sacks or QB hurries.

"Any time we can put the ball in the end zone instead of getting three, that's always a positive."

-- Harvin
