ABOUT ARIZONA

RECORD: 4-2

• The Cardinals lost at home in overtime 19-16 to Buffalo on Sunday.

• Arizona hasn't won in Minnesota since 1977, having lost the past six regular season games here and one playoff game.

• Arizona is 11-4 in its past 15 games.

• The Cardinals offense is scuffling, ranked 26th in points per game, 31st in yards gained overall and 28th in passing.

• The defense has been stout, allowing only 97 points. Arizona is 10th in yards allowed and fifth in sacks per pass play.

• Minneapolis native Larry Fitzgerald Jr. is fifth in the NFL with 36 receptions. He has averaged 77 receiving yards and 5.6 receptions per game since entering the league.

PLAYER TALK arizona WR LARRY FITZGERALD JR.

• On Arizona's two-game losing streak: "Whatever is going on we have to figure it out and figure it out quickly. Because if we don't it's going to be a long weekend."

• On playing in the Metrodome: "You get behind, and that Metrodome gets pretty loud. We want to keep Ragnar off the field as much as possible."

• On offensive struggles: "It's the same plays we were calling when we were scoring 30 points a game a couple years back. We're just not executing it as well as we need to."

COACH SPEAK ken whisenhunt

• On the offensive line struggles (22 sacks the past three games): "Some of it was situational, especially in the Thursday night game [vs. St. Louis]. We can't afford to give up that many sacks, and it's something we're working on."

• On the Cards' problems in Minnesota: "It's tough on the road. That's the way the NFL is. And [the dome] is a tough place to play in general. And we haven't handled it very well."

• On bouncing back from last week's loss: "We've been in a number of those (close) games. We had a chance to win it but didn't get it done. But we looked at the tape, made corrections and moved on."
