STADIUM STATUS

The Minnesota House passed the stadium bill crafted by Gov. Mark Dayton, key GOP legislators and the Vikings. The $1 billion roofed stadium would be built at the Metrodome site.

Updated

House changes to the Vikings stadium-charitable gambling bill on Monday include:

• Increasing the team's contribution by $105 million and decreasing the state's contribution by the same amount.

• Protecting state and city from cost overruns.

• Sharing revenues from sale of naming rights to stadium.

• Increasing term of lease from 30 to 40 years.

• Increasing amount team must pay the state if it sells after the stadium is built.

New payment plan

Revised construction cost breakdown as proposed by House:

Vikings: $532 million (was $427 million).

State: $293 million (was $398 million).

Minneapolis: $150 million.

What's next: The Senate is expected to vote on the bill Tuesday. If passed, the two bills will go to conference committee and then back to the House and Senate for final passage. That bill then will go to Dayton for his signature.
