Randy Moss' NFL journey

1998 Drafted in the first round, 21st overall, by the Vikings, out of Marshall. He caught 17 touchdown passes and was named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.

2005: After reaching the Pro Bowl five times in his seven seasons with the Vikings, Moss was traded to the Raiders for Oakland's first-round choice (No. 7 overall), linebacker Napoleon Harris and a seventh-round pick.

2007: After two unproductive seasons with Oakland (102 catches, 11 TDs), Moss was traded to the Patriots on the eve of the draft for a fourth-round draft choice. He signed a one-year, $3 million deal and ended up setting an NFL record with 23 touchdown receptions.

2008: Moss, who turns 31 on Feb. 13, will be an unrestricted free agent. He has 774 receptions (20th in NFL history) for 12,193 yards (14th) and 124 touchdowns (fourth) in 10 seasons.
