The Redskins (5-9) are the only team in the NFC East that isn't in the hunt for a playoff spot, but they are playing the role of spoilers well, having beaten the New York Giants twice. Otherwise, Washington's season as been as forgettable as the Vikings' year.

REDSKINS WEEK 15: Washington 23, N.Y. Giants 10

Rex Grossman threw a touchdown pass to Santana Moss and Jabar Gaffney had six catches for 85 yards as the Redskins won on the road, handing the Giants their fifth loss in six games.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR:  Rex Grossman

Rex Grossman? Yes, Rex Grossman. The veteran QB has been around for nine seasons of ignominy, but has passed for 2,600 yards this season despite missing three games. And, he's licking his chops.

OUTLOOK

Unless Paul Krause, Bobby Bryant and Joey Browner come out of retirement, Grossman should be able to carve up the Vikings secondary before Santa hits the highway. Outlook: Horns down
