Friday is Thursday at Winter Park as the Vikings put their full pads on for the only time in preparation for Monday night's game against the Packers at Lambeau Field.

As expected, right guard Anthony Herrera is the only player who won't play because of injury Monday night. Herrera will miss his second consecutive game because of an injured lateral collateral ligament in his left knee. Joe Berger will start in his place again.

"We were really hoping to get something out of [Herrera], but it doesn't look like that's going to happen, so we're going to list him as out and revisit maybe next week to see where he is," coach Leslie Frazier said after practice.

The injury news continue to be good for two key players, cornerback Antoine Winfield (neck) and receiver Percy Harvin (ribs). Both will play Monday night. Harvin isn't even on the injury report.

"He looks as fresh as he did when he came to training camp," said Frazier, noting how the bye week has helped Harvin rest a rib injury that's bothered him since training camp.

Winfield is on the injury report this week, but will definitely play after missing the last four games because of the neck injury.

"It was great to see Antoine out here," Frazier said. "We had our pads on today. To see him move around and be involved in contact situations was good for everybody's confidence. It's going to be great having him back on the field. It's really encouraging."
