Noting like a week off to restore a team's health. At Thursday afternoon's practice, guard Anthony Herrera was the only player inactive. Herrera is still recovering from a lateral collateral ligament injury in his left knee. But even that prognosis registers as a bright spot. When Herrera suffered his knee injury in Week 7 against the Packers, the Vikings initially feared he had further damaged the same ACL he tore late last season.

Now, he's being listed as day-to-day.

The only other Viking listed on Thursday's injury report was cornerback Antoine Winfield, a full participant who said his neck is back to 100 percent healthy. Winfield will play Monday night for the first time since Oct. 2. In Green Bay, linebacker Clay Matthews sat out the Packers' Thursday practice with a knee injury. Defensive end Mike Neal and guard Josh Sitton were limited participants, both dealing with knee issues of their own. Safety Morgan Burnett practiced in full Thursday but is still recovering from a broken hand suffered in Week 5.
