No defense in the NFL is better at forcing three-and-outs than Detroit's. The Lions lead the league with 33 three-and-outs. That includes four three-and-outs while outscoring the Vikings 26-3 to erase a 20-0 halftime lead in Week 3. "To be able to go three-and-out means that you can throw three fastballs that they can't hit," Lions coach Jim Schwartz told reporters this week.

Packers kicker Mason Crosby carries a franchise-record 21 consecutive field goals with him to San Diego on Sunday. He's 14-for-14 this season, including a 58-yarder against the Vikings. Crosby told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that the key is not bringing his work worries home with him. The first-time father said, "I go home and I'm with my son, with my wife and I'm really immersed in that."
