Here are the top 10 picks from the 2005 draft and, for all but one, a look at their woes in 2007:
1. Alex Smith
QB, 49ers
One of the league's worst quarterbacks with a 57.2 passer rating.
2. Ronnie Brown
RB, Dolphins
Had a good start, but now out for the season because of a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).
3. Braylon Edwards
WR, Browns
The exception to the curse -- so far. Tied for second in the NFL with 10 touchdown receptions.
4. Cedric Benson
RB, Bears
Hasn't lived up to expectations with only a 3.0-yard average per carry as the featured back.
5. Cadillac Williams
RB, Buccaneers
Out for the season because of a torn patellar tendon.
6. Pacman Jones
CB, Titans
Suspended for the season by the NFL for violating its conduct policy.
7. Troy Williamson

Well-documented struggles continue, with only nine catches in seven games.

Out for the season because of a torn ACL and medial collateral ligament (MCL).

Out of football after failing in Detroit, which drafted him, and Oakland, which traded for him.
