GAME BALLS

Adrian Peterson, Vikings: We might want to reserve a spot in this section weekly for the kid. A team-record 224 rushing yards and three TDs on Sunday.

Devin Hester, Bears: 89-yard punt return TD, 81-yard reception TD ... other than that, not much.

Fourth quarter, 1:38 remaining

The situation: An 81-yard pass from Brian Griese to Devin Hester capped a 14-point Bears comeback.

The play: Robbie Gould's kick was returned 53 yards by Adrian Peterson to the Chicago 30, setting up Ryan Longwell's winning field goal.

JACKSON'S ACTIONS

A weekly look at the progress of Tarvaris Jackson

Play: No interceptions, no fumbles, only sacked once ... but two crucial overthrows. Grade: Wade

Leadership: After missing two games because of a groin injury, he rebounded nicely. Grade: Wade

Stats: Hit nine of 23 for 136 yards, but without a 60-yard TD pass, his stats would have been awful. Grade: Wynn

Overall: The best thing about T-Jack was the way he handed off to Peterson. Those were smaaaart plays. Grade: Wade
