YOUR GUIDE TO THE TWIN CITIES

A look at Stubhub.com shows that tickets for many games are still available for a reasonable price, and some games aren't even sold out yet.
A fan handed over tickets as entering Target Field for the Twins' home opener.
Roughly 40,000 people jammed into Target Field on Monday for the first regular season game ever at the Twins' shiny new ballpark. In 20 years, of course, roughly 250,000 people will say they were there.
But while being at the opener -- or at least saying you were -- carries a certain amount of prestige, we're here to tell you that getting into Target Field appears to be well within reach for the average fan throughout many of the final 80 scheduled home games.
While a full-season sellout in the Twins' inaugural year at Target Field is well within expectations, the resale market for many games -- at least at this point -- points to reasonable options.
Tickets for a few series -- the upcoming weekend set against the Royals and late May tilts with the Brewers and Yankees, among a couple others -- start at around $30 and go way up from there on Stubhub.com, which has a resale partnership with Major League Baseball.
But even just a cursory look at other games on the site shows that season-ticket holders looking to cash in might be disappointed, while fans looking to catch a few games this season might be pleasantly surprised.
A fan buying tickets via resale on StubHub at this point can reasonably expect to get in the door at Target Field for less than $20 per ticket -- and often lower than that -- to around 55 games. (Note: Several games are not yet sold out and are available through regular sales.)
The prices seem to go down as the season progresses, but even seemingly in-demand games such as the last two of the Red Sox series Wednesday and Thursday were available via StubHub for $15-20 as of Tuesday afternoon.
Translation: While the Target Field opener was certainly a hot and sometimes expensive ticket, and some prime games are being offered for two or three times face value right now, the majority of games are available at what most people would consider a reasonable price.
