Dan Johnson has seen some low points in his major-league career, but here are five of his biggest highlights:

Aug. 4, 2005

With about 200 friends and family watching at the Metrodome, Johnson hits his second homer in as many days against the Twins, leading to a 5-2 victory for Oakland.

Sept. 9, 2008

Johnson arrives from the minor leagues in time to hit a game-tying, ninth- inning homer off Jonathan Papelbon, and the Rays go on to win, keeping Boston out of first place.

Aug. 28, 2010

The Red Sox and Rays were tied 2-2 in the 10th inning at Tropicana Field, when Johnson hit a walk-off homer against Boston righthander Scott Atchison.

April 8, 2011

With the Rays trailing 7-5 in Chicago, Johnson comes to the plate riding a 2-for-27 skid and hits a three-run, ninth-inning homer off White Sox lefthander Matt Thornton.

Sept. 28, 2011

With the Rays down to their final strike of the season, Johnson is batting .108 but hits a game-tying homer off Yankees righthander Cory Wade. Four innings later, Evan Longoria sends Tampa Bay into the postseason with another home run.
