Twins-Rockies: Will Ashley Judd be at Target Field tonight?

Posted by: La Velle E. Neal III Updated: June 16, 2010 - 6:04 PM

Team Target will throw out the first pitch today before the Twins face the Rockies. That means Scott Dixon, Juan Pablo Montoya and Dario Franchitti will be here. The lookout for Mrs.Franchitti - Ashley Judd - is on.

Orlando Hudson actually took some left-handed swings in the indoor cages today but isn't ready to try it during regular BP yet. The Twins are crossing their fingers that he'll be ready for the Phillies series this weekend.

Former Twin Juan Rincon, who was pitching at Class AAA Colorado Springs,  had his contract purchased by the Rockies and added to the roster in time for tonight's game,

Delmon Young is 14-for-28 (.500) in his career against Colorado.

Twins manager Ron Gardenhire said that the Twins will be unable to go to 11 pitches and add a position player before heading on their interleague road trip.

Ben Revere is having a run of bad luck. He recently returned to Class AA New Britain's lineup after missing a few games when his eye was swollen shut when he got kneed there while breaking up a double play.. On Tuesday, he tried to score form third on the contact play and got spiked in the arm at home plate. He's out for a few more days.
