Torii Hunter ended up in a firestorm on Twitter late last night when he posted his thoughts about Floyd Mayweather following his victory over Manny Pacquiao.

``Don't let your emotions cloud ur judgment," Hunter wrote. ``What Mayweather does in the ring is business. We he does outside the ring has nothing to do with me."

Mayweather has been convicted of domestic abuse charges multiple times, so that statement didn't go over very well. Responses on twitter and other websites have been strongly against his statement. Hunter, a boxing fan, predicted earlier in the evening that Mayweather would win. He tried to clarify his thoughts with another tweet.

``I'm just saying he know how to fight in the ring people," Hunter later wrote. ``Don't over analyze this. I don't supposed domestic violence. Stay focused."

The tweets were later deleted from his feed.

Sitting in front of his stall in the Twins clubhouse before Sunday's game against the White Sox, Hunter maintained that his tweet was taken the wrong way.

``Come on, man. I would be crazy to support something like that," said Hunter, who has been married to his wife, Katrina, for 18 years. ``If I offended anyone I'm sorry. It is not normal to agree with domestic violence."

Hunter, who has landed it hot water for some comments he's made in the past, said he's done with twitter.

``Instagram only," he said.

Twins go for sweep

Mike Pelfrey coming off of consecutive strong seven-inning starts, is on the mound today as the Twins go a four-game series sweep of the White Sox, It's hard for a team to sweep a four-game series, but this would be the second straight season the Twins have swept Chicago in four games. The Twins did it in June of last year.

This ends a run of 25 games in which 22 of them are against the AL Central. The Twins have been able to see every division opponent and know where they stand now. A win today pulls them to 11-11 against division opponents.
