Here are three quick thoughts after the Twins' second victory of the season.

OZZIE ARCIA: The young apprentice slugger spent pre-game trying to use his legs more in his swing. The early work with hitting coach Tom Brunansky paid off when he hit a two-run home run over Pohlad's Peak in the fourth inning, which turned out to be the winning hit. ``It was nice for Arcia to click on that one," Molitor said. Molly said he's going to pick his spots against lefties with Arcia, preferring to see if he can get hot facing mostly right handed pitchers.

POHLAD'S PEAK: For future reference, that's what I call that ridiculous right field wall at Target Field. I thought the baggie at the Dome was bad, PP is worse because you really have to get a ball up in the air to clear it in right center. Love to out of town scoreboard, but geez that thing is high and long......

CAIN IS ABLE: When Brian Dozier connected with an Edinson Volquez pitch in the first inning with the bases loaded, he thought he had a bases-clearing triple. Instead, Royals center fielder Lorenzo Cain turned into Antonio Brown and ran that ball down. ``I'm sure on SportsCenter we'll see the track of how many feet that Cain covered to catch that," Molitor said. Dozier was limited to a sacrifice fly on the play. Cain is a player. He always has been a splendid fielder but someone has taught him how to hit. And he's one of the leaders on that Royals team.

By the way, it was the first time Dozier ever batted in the cleanup spot. ``Bases loaded, first at bat," he said. ``If I had stuck out there you all would have had a lot to write about.
