Good morning. I'm glad to be able to blog to you at all this morning because I almost bought the farm on the way to the ballpark. A man driving a Mercedes convertible junped out in front me, and it took reflexes I didn't realize I had to swerve out of the way then back into my lane. Drivers down here are HORRIBLE!

Glen Perkins is going to throw an inning in a minor league game today while the rest of the team heads down the street to play the Red Sox.

Brian Duensing is going through daily workouts after being hit in the left quad by a line drive on Tuesday. ``Its sore, but good," Duensing said. ``Movement is the best thing for it."

Duensing said he's tentatively scheduled to throw in the bullpen on Friday to see how it responds.

``It just hit the muscle, so it will be O.K.," he said.

Trying to be funny, I said: ``That's what you get for having big muscles."

Duensing replied: ``That's what I get for throwing the ball down the middle of the plate."

Hey, Torii Hunter is playing in a road game!

By the way, hard throwing relief prospect Jake Reed is on the travel squad today. It would be nice to see him get some playing time,
