Danny Santana is back in the lineup after missing two games with lower back soreness. He entered Ron Gardenhire's office this morning and told the manager he's good to go.

Lot of regulars in the Game 1 lineup, but Gardy plans to shake things up for Game 2. Not sure what that means. Game 2 will start about 30 minutes after the completion of Game 1,

After the two games today, the Twins will head to Chicago for a weekend series against the White Sox. As of right now, Chicago has not announced their rotation for the three games.

Jordan Schafer's next stolen base will be the 100th of his career.

Glen Perkins (sore neck) is good to go and is available to close. Jared Burton, who got a six-pitch save on Tuesday, returns to a setup role. Perkins has five saves against Cleveland.

It what is the biggest no-brainer ever, the Twins have extended their player development agreement with Class A Fort Myers until 2018. The Twins have locked up deals with Class AAA Rochester, Class A Cedar Rapids and Fort Myers.
