La Velle E. Neal III has covered baseball for the Star Tribune since 1998 (the post-Knoblauch era). Born and raised in Chicago, he grew up following the White Sox and hating the Cubs. He attended both the University of Illinois and Illinois-Chicago and began his baseball writing career at the Kansas City Star. Round Seven: Twins take another righthander

The Twins selected Andro Cutura, a righthander from Southeastern Louisiana, in the seventh round of the draft.

Cutura was 10-2 with a 1.95 ERA this season. In 106 innings, he struck 99 and walked 21. Still digging for a scouting report.
