Posted by: La Velle E. Neal III Updated: March 28, 2014 - 11:01 AM

Late start today, as manager Ron Gardenhire gave the team extra time off after long camp. Plus. with the charter for Chicago set to leave tomrorow, it gave players extra time to finish packing and bring bags to the equipment truck that departs for the Twin Cities on Saturday.

The only work left for the Twins is a little paperwork, as they eventually will send catcher Dan Rohlfing, the 26th man, to the minors. The roster is basically set.

After today, the Twins and Red Sox will play once more, at JefBlue Park down the street. Then the Twins are off to Chicago and the Red Sox are off to Baltimore to begin the regular season.
