A few things in advance of Wednesday's Hall of Fame announcement:

Miguel Sano has arrived in Florida to work out in advance of spring training - but he won't be working out for awhile. He had a callous removed from one his feet and will not start workouts for a few days. But all indications are that everything is going well with him. He was shut down from winter ball this offseason because of a strained ligament in his elbow but the Twins say he has recovered.

You can ask Sano for yourself at TwinsFest starting Jan. 24. He'll be one of 71 players on hand.

Also, there will be a booth at TwinsFest promoting, `Pelotero II," or "The Miguel Sano Story.' The same people who brought you Pelotero have continued to follow Sano through the minors and hope to top off the story with his arrival to the majors (this season?)

Byron Buxton, who last month picked up his minor league player of the year award, will also be at TwinsFest.

The Twins, either tomorrow or Thursday, will release their complete list of invites to minor league camp. We have reported them whenever we've learned of them, but this will be the entire list.

Finally, the Hall of Fame election results will be announced tomorrow afternoon. I will release my ballot here after the Hall of Fame has it's time in the spotlight. Then that's it for me for awhile as my teammate Phil Miller takes over daily coverage for a few weeks!
