The Twins are still working on getting first-round draft pick Kohl Stewart's signature on a contract, but a couple draftees who might eventually catch him have agreed to contracts.

Stuart Turner, selected in the third round last week, and Brian Navaretto, the Twins' sixth-round pick, have both agreed to terms with the Twins, a team source told the Star Tribune. Both are catchers, Turner from the University of Mississippi and Navaretto a high school player from Arlington Country Day in Jacksonville, Fla.

Stewart, the Twins' first-rounder from St. Pius X High in Houston, is a right-handed starter who continues to negotiate with Minnesota over his contract.

In a minor-league move, the Twins signed righthander Cody Eppley, released by the Yankees last month, to a minor-league contract and assigned him to Class AAA Rochester. Eppley has appeared in 71 major-league games with the Rangers and Yankees, all in relief, and owns a career 4.61 ERA.
