Twins postgame: The jump-to-conclusions edition

Twins outfielder Denard Span left the game after the seventh inning, and twitter blew up with people claiming he had to be traded.,
People, have we learned anything about arriving at conclusions?
FSN's Dick Bremer fueled speculation when he said, "something of some substance." has happened to Span. We were ready for action when the clubhouse opened after the game. Twins manager Ron Gardenhire revealed that Span didn't feel well and was taken out of the game.
Span later confirmed that with this comment:
"I felt my head kind of spinning a little bit," Span said. "I felt like I was moving in slow motion. So I felt it was best for me to come out of the game. I didn't want to do anything to cost us the game."
Span said he he knew something was wrong when he tried to track Lorenzo Cain's double in the seventh inning.
"Things just didn't seem as sharp as they have been," Span said. "This is probably the worst I feel all year. I'll just go to sleep and see how I feel (Sunday). I'm not too worried about it."
So.....NO TRADE! But the concern has to shift to Span, who has battled concussion issues in the recent past. Maybe he will feel better tomorrow. Maybe he won't. How will affect any trade talks the Twins have going on?
CBSSports' Jon Heyman just reported that the Yankees have talked to many teams about outfield help. As for Span, Heyman reported that he was told the Twins are asking for a ton for Span.
The Yankees don't seem to be a good fit. They need short-term help, and Span is locked up for two more years. And I don't think they will go with an outfield of Span, Brett Gardner and Curtis Granderson next season. We'll see. Anything is possible.
Just remember. When something happens, we'll let you know as soon as we find out.
