He attended both the University of Illinois and Illinois-Chicago and began his baseball writing career at the Kansas City Star. Twins reassign four. Your 2012 Twins roster looks set

The Twins on Sunday reassigned infielders Brian Dozier and Brian Dinkleman, catcher J.R. Towles and righthander Casey Fien to the minor league camp.
That leaves the roster at 27 players....but wait!
That doesn't include righthanders Scott Baker and Jason Marquis. Baker will open the season on the disabled list. Marquis will be placed on a family emergency list because his daughter is still recovering after being injured in a bicycle accident.
Once those moves are made, the Twins will be at 25 players. So unless there's a late move....
