CLEVELAND -- The Twins were swept in their first three doubleheaders this season, and they'll try to avoid letting it happen again tonight in Game 2 against Cleveland.

The Indians won Game 1, 8-2, as Twins hitters combined for 13 strikeouts, including four by Chris Parmelee and three apiece by Michael Cuddyer and Joe Benson.

It was the first time the Twins had three players with three or more strikeouts in the same game since Aug. 7, 2005 at Boston, when Matthew LeCroy (3), Mike Redmond (3) and Jacque Jones (4) had themselves a tough day.
