The Twins plan to add reliever Lester Oliveros to the active roster Monday, the Star Tribune has confirmed, though the team hasn't made an official announcement as they wait for pitcher Nick Blackburn to have his right forearm evaluated.
Oliveros, 23, came to the Twins last week in the trade that sent Delmon Young to the Tigers. Oliveros made two appearances for Class AAA Rochester, including Saturday when he had three strikeouts and allowed just one hit in two scoreless innings.
Oliveros actually flew to Minnesota on Sunday night as Rochester had its game postponed.
