It's coming down in Cleveland. For how long, we're not sure. Twins manager Ron Gardenhire, earlier today, was confident the game would be played in its entirety.

Heard that they are looking at a 7 p.m, start, but that has not been verified yet. Check back soon for an announcement.

Now were hearing 7:15-7:30.

Update: It's up in the air now. The rain was expected to have stopped by now but is hovering over the city. Stay tuned.....the radar suggests that the system should be moving through shortly.

FINAL UPDATE: THE TARP IS COMING OFF. FIRST PITCH IS SCHEDULED FOR 7:50 P.M.

UPDATES, UPDATES, UPDATES

The fan here before the game is screaming for Jim Thome as he warms up before the game. Thome has recovered from a sore abdominal muscle and is in tonight's lineup. The guess here is that LeBron will never get close to the warm receptions Thome gets whenever he returns to the city where his career began.

Brian Fuentes' bullpen session went very well. ``He wanted to pitch today," coach Rick Anderson said. But Fuentes will be available starting tomorrow. Jose Mijares has been activated from the disabled list and is available tonight. So the Twins will have a full bullpen for their big series against the White Sox next week.

Carl Pavano, battling a sore neck from Thursday night, rode a stationary bike before the game.

Righthander Scott Baker played catch before the game as he works his way through elbow tendinitis. There's a chance he might have a bullpen session in Chicago but nothing has been scheduled yet.

Carlos Carrasco has a good arm.His fastball reaches the mid-90's but he struggles with his command.

The Twins are warming up around the tarp is partially unfolded in short left-centerfield. We're expecting some rain here, but nothing lengthy.

What the heck happened at TCF Bank today? I'm trying not to act too bewildered because my Illini might lose at home tonight to the Salukis.
