YOUR GUIDE TO THE TWIN CITIES

After winning seven of their last eight -- including two of three at U.S. Cellular Field last week -- the 68-50 Twins have moved three games ahead of the rival White Sox in the American League Central. Minnesota is 4-2 at home against Chicago this season, winning the last three matchups, but even more impressive is that our boys are a big-league best 17-4 since July 24.
Scott Baker, who will take the hill for the Twins in Tuesday night's opener at 7:10pm, beat the Sox a week ago to earn his third straight victory. The right-hander is a career 6-3 with a 5.79 ERA in 13 starts against Chicago.
John Danks gets the ball for the White Sox tonight, sporting a 1.93 ERA over his last five starts. The lefty allowed just one run over eight solid innings of a 6-1 victory over the Twins last Wednesday. However, keep an eye on Joe Mauer, who is 4-for-10 with two doubles and four RBI against him this season.
Former White Sox slugger Jim Thome had this to say about the upcoming series:
"It should be fun, I think that's what baseball's about. It makes it fun for each city to root for both teams. I know our fans will be excited."
Any predictions for the next three games?
