The Star Tribune staff selected its own all-Metrodome team.

The seven current Star Tribune sports staff members who covered the team regularly during its Metrodome years selected the following all-Dome team:

FIRST BASE: Kent Hrbek

Dome seasons:
14 (1981-94). Key stats: .283 BA, 292 HR, 1,079 RBI; No. 2 in Twins career HRs

SECOND BASE: Chuck Knoblauch

Dome seasons:

SHORTSTOP: Greg Gagne

OUTFIELD: Kirby Puckett

CATCHER: Joe Mauer

STARTING PITCHER: Kevin Tapani

CLOSER: Joe Nathan
