Casilla recalled; Tolbert to Rochester

The Twins announced after today’s game that they will recall second baseman Alexi Casilla from Triple-A Rochester prior to Friday night’s game at Texas. Matt Tolbert is being sent back to Rochester. He had a .178 average while serving mainly as a reserve second baseman with the Twins. In two stints with the Twins this season, Casilla batted .180 with three doubles, one triple and five RBI. In 40 games with the Red Wings this season, he batted .340 with three doubles, four triples, two home runs and 17 RBI.
