Pat Neshek, the popular former Twins relief pitcher, has been named to the National League All-Star team after establishing himself this year as one of baseball's top set-up men.

Neshek has a 2-0 record and 0.77 ERA in 30 appearances with St. Louis. He also has picked up the first two saves of his major league career.

Neshek was one of the final five players on the Internet ballot when he pitched for the Twins in 2007, but he wasn't selected in the final vote by fans.
