Twitter fans are clamoring for Jorge Polanco to start a game now. Of course, after his two run triple on Friday.

But Twins manager Ron Gardenhire said they need to work with Polanco on some things before they can start him. He didn't know where to position himself more than once in the short time he was on the field last night, and his arm was erratic during pre-game drills.

Gardy said Trevor Plouffe was tentative during Friday's batting practice, but Plouffe looked more aggressive today.

Eduardo Nunez came through yesterday's doubleheader fine and is scheduled to play in the outfield tonight for Class AA New Britain during a rehab assignment.

Kendrys Morales has the most experience against Rangers ace Yu Darvish, but he's batting just .136 against him. Joe Mauer and Chris Parmelee are 1-for-3 against him. Sam Fuld is 3-for-6. That's it for Twins with hits against Darvish.

Kurt Suzuki will try to break a 0-for-13 slump at the plate.

One thing from last night: Kevin Correia now leads the AL with nine losses.
