Francisco Liriano got the victory Sunday for Rochester despite allowing four runs and eight hits in six innings against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in Rochester, N.Y. The Red Wings won the game 10-4.

Liriano allowed only one run through five innings before giving up a three-run homer with two outs in the sixth inning. Before the home run, Liriano had allowed two earned runs in the previous 36 2/3 innings.

Liriano walked one and struck out nine. He is 10-2 with a 3.28 ERA at Rochester.

The Twins still have not indicated when they will call up the left-hander, who missed the entire 2007 season after Tommy John surgery and was sent to the minors after a very poor start in April.
