From down three to victory

The Twins reached 50 victories on Sunday, and in 24 of those they have come from behind to win. Since June 22, they have won six times -- in a stretch of 13 games -- when they trailed by three runs.

June 22, vs. Arizona; trailed 3-0; won 5-3

• The Twins rallied for five fifth-inning runs off All-Star Brandon Webb, thanks in part to a ball lost in the Metrodome roof.

June 25, at San Diego; trailed 3-0; won 9-3

• The Twins tied it in the third vs. Greg Maddux and took the lead in the fourth on Brendan Harris' home run.

June 26, at San Diego; trailed 3-0; won 4-3

• Justin Morneau's long two-run homer in the fourth inning started the Twins' comeback.

June 27, vs. Milwaukee trailed 6-3; won 7-6

• Joe Mauer's solo homer in the eighth capped the third game in a row the Twins came back from three runs down.

July 5, vs. Cleveland; trailed 5-2; won 9-6

• After Cleveland scored five runs in the second, the Twins chipped away before scoring five runs in the sixth.

July 6, vs. Cleveland; trailed 3-0; won 4-3

• Cliff Lee walked the bases loaded to tie the score before a groundout put the Twins up in a three-run seventh.
